Our Mission

To promote excellence in Public Health Nursing Administration and Practice and to provide a united voice for Public Health Nursing Administration in Ontario.

Our Objectives

To act in an advisory capacity to provincial authorities and professional organizations.

To promote the continuing professional development and education of public health nursing administration sector.

To serve as a communication network for Public Health Nursing Managers.

To advocate for appropriate public health action through political systems.

Classes of Membership

Active: Membership shall be open to a Registered Nurse currently employed or on leave of absence of 12 months or less from positions at the management level in local official health agencies in Ontario. University nursing faculty are also eligible for membership. Fee: $200.00

Associate: Membership shall be open to former members who are have retired from Public Health Nursing Management. Fee: $100.00

Honorary: Membership shall be bestowed by the Executive after ratification by membership, for special recognition of outstanding contribution to public health nursing management in Ontario. Fee: No charge
